June 7, 2015: National Cancer Survivor’s Day

Sunday June 7, 2015 is National Cancer Survivor’s Day.

YYC 2015 Spring Sprint Tshirt

Anyone who has been to Spring Sprint, and has seen the distinctive blue t-shirts worn by survivors, will know that Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada celebrates all brain tumour survivors!

We hope for two things:

1) For more blue t-shirts representing more people affected who have found support
2) For a cure to end all brain tumours.

On days of celebration like this, we recognise that there are many still fighting and those who may have recently lost someone. Our thoughts go out to you.

Regardless of who you are, and how you have been affected, you are not alone.

We are here to listen. You can call for emotional one-on-one support Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at 1-800-265-5106.

  1. I’m a survivor since 1995 and I’m wearing my blue Tshirts today but there is no writing on it

  2. Hi Frank, there’s a blue t-shirt, with writing, on its way to you. You should be all set for National Cancer Survivor’s Day 2016 and hopefully many years after that.

  3. My 3 year old son is a survivor of grade 5 brain cancer! 6 months no evidence of disease. Would love to purchase a shirt for him!

  4. Hi I am a childhood brain cancer survivor of 12 years (13 years in July)
I would like to find a way to receive one of your blue t shirts.

  5. Survivor tshirts are available at our Brain Tumour Walk events, see http://www.braintumourwalk.ca for more details of a walk near you!
