I have returned to my desk at Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada and, with Brain Tumour Awareness Month starting, what a great time to be back! It’s so wonderful to see you all requesting awareness kits, wearing grey and sharing your brain tumour journey. Some of the reasons are powerful, and often surprisingly positive after all you’ve been through. I wanted to personally thank you for all that you are doing to raise awareness of brain tumours!
It has been a busy month since my return, with a highlight being a trip to Calgary for the Brain Tumour Information Day. There is another Information Day in Montreal this weekend, which will be structured with the morning in French, the afternoon in English. I am also attending the London Information Day on October 17, 2015 at which Dr. Rolando Del Maestro will be presenting. I hope to see you there.
This is also a time for us to look forward. Not only to the forthcoming holiday season but also to sharing the strategic direction that Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada will take over the next few years. Stay tuned! With your help, we will reach all the people in Canada affected by a brain tumour. If you need to reach me, you know where to find me, I’ll be at my desk.
