Breakfast with a neurosurgeon
Brain Week is a global campaign, promoting public interest in neuroscience research and we are celebrating the progress and benefits of brain research with 2014 Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada research grant recipient Dr. Sheila Singh.
Dr. Singh is a pediatric neurosurgeon at McMaster Children’s Hospital in Hamilton, ON and scientist appointed to the Stem Cell and Cancer Research Institute at McMaster University. She has done extensive research into childhood brain tumours, bringing hope to her young patients and their families. There is no doubting her passion and dedication to finding a cure for brain tumours.
Hear how research has improved survival for kids with medulloblastomas and how she stays positive working in an environment with palliative children. Learn about the youngest patient she ever operated on, her love of spontaneity and so much more in this 10-minute podcast: Breakfast with a neurosurgeon
Research grants like Dr. Singh’s would not be possible without the generosity of our donors. Thank you! Text to Donate or visit www.braintumour.ca for more ways to donate today.
